This morning, when I opened Firefox, I realised that I had to login to all sites except for WhatsApp Web.
Has this something to do with a Firefox update? Has anyone experienced something similar? If nobody did, it may be related to some add-on.
The login data is usually stored in the cookies. Have you cleaned any of the browsing history?
I recommend you use a password manager like KeepassXC to keep all your logins, Usernames, Passwords, and a lot of other information.
It looks like you were relying on Cookies and saved logins. They do expire forcing you to re login, actually a good thing in my book.
I do use a password manager for my passwords. However, this doesn’t mean that I have to enter the password each time I open Google calendar. I didn’t explicitly clear the cookies. I might have does so by mistake through some keyboard shortcut that is unknown to me.
I hope this is not some hack and someone is collecting the passwords I have to enter again.
When in doubt, change your passwords. Also, 1 reason they can expire or force expire is because of the Ip or Location. Since I use a VPN, this happens a lot. Which again is a good thing.
I never experienced that, but do you use Firefox Sync or any other kind of browser sync provider?
I’m not sure if it is related to some Firefox or system update.
I do use Firefox sync.
