You can put Fedora on almost any laptop.
The price difference between Fedora Verified laptops, and any other is huge, and does not necessarily guarantee that Fedora will always work better on it.
Get any x86_64 laptop with 8GB RAM.
Working with scientists from developing nations, old âunloved and unwantedâ computers that didnât support current Windows versions but worked well with linux could found be gathering dust in some closet.

Those fortunate enough to acquire new hardware that comes with MS Windows pre-installed may be able (and should definitely try) to claim a refund of the Windows License portion of the purchase price. There are anecdotal success stories from customers of OEMs without such policy, so itâs worth a go.
