It always stops during restart and the power does not turn off.
My computer is a Macbook.

Press Escape to find out which unit fails to deactivate.
When that state is reached, no buttons are accepted. All I can do is to press and hold the power button and force it to turn off.

Almost sounds like a kernel panic… Could you try booting without the rhgb and quiet parameters using the directions here, then reboot and see if a kernel trace appears?
