Fedora Accessibility Working Group

Following this post and Vipul’s lead, there is a great amount of interest in the Accessibility Working Group. I am looking to gauge what style of meeting and time slot suits people for the first meeting.

I propose that the meetings take place bi-weekly on either a Tuesday or Thursday, with the first meeting taking place on either the 19th or 21st of July on Jitsi. I have set up a WhenIsGood event for you to choose what time and day the event takes place. I will update this post on the 14th of July with the chosen time and day :slight_smile:

What are we?

We will be a team of Fedora contributors who care about accessibility and digital inclusion for both Fedora Linux and the Fedora Community, with support and guidance from the Diversity, Equality, & Inclusion team.

The results are in! The first meeting for the Fedora Accessibility Working Group will take place at 2:00 PM GMT on July 19th! I’ll post the meeting link and agenda in the DEI matrix channel closer to the time. Hope to see you all there :slight_smile:

@siddharthvipul1 would love to join the accesabbililty group since if often talk about these things due to being neurodiverse.
