Hello, dear Fedora Community! Is TPM 2.0 standard for Fedora now? And it means, that minimal hardware requirements is increased? Because after Fedora 41 update my laptop collide with problem, when I want to install Fedora 41 via liveinst: Checking: 045.6% [ TIME ] Timed out waiting for device dev-tpmrm0.device - /dev/tpmrm0.
And after auto-update of Fedora 41 in Workstation my system starts very slow.
Many of us, including people using other linux distros, are experiencing boot delays for those timeouts, but once booted system works normally. This appears to be system dependent so solutions that work for some people may not work for you. Look at other posts that mention the same error and to see if any of the posted “solutions” work on your system. For me, masking the dev-tpm*.deviceunit configuration files worked early on but now I’m seeing the delays again.
