Fedora 41 to 42 : Librepo error: Cannot download Packages/m/mozilla-openh264

Fedora 41 on x86_64.
Trying to upgrade using : sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=42

But it fails and says :
Librepo error: Cannot download Packages/m/mozilla-openh264-2.4.1-2.fc42.x86_64.rpm: All mirrors were tried

Not sure what to do. Remove the package that cannot be found, or something else ?

I dont want to get into video playing issues if I upgrade to Fedora 42 and suddenly playing videos becomes an issue.

It seems that website is not working : http://ciscobinary.openh264.org/
Firefox fails to connect.

gf@aesir:~$ curl http://ciscobinary.openh264.org
curl: (7) Failed to connect to ciscobinary.openh264.org port 80 after 13 ms: Could not connect to server
gf@aesir:~$ curl https://ciscobinary.openh264.org
curl: (7) Failed to connect to ciscobinary.openh264.org port 443 after 13 ms: Could not connect to server

While the error message does say “all mirrors have been tried” when I check the log I can see it tried 4 times and then failed. There are no mirrors but hat link :

http://ciscobinary.openh264.org/mozilla-openh264-2.4.1-2.fc42.x86_64.rpm

Tried from my french Orange IP.
Also tried from VPN + USA IP.

Using a tool to check if website is online from Web reports an error.

It works if you check the full URL:

You can also use Tor, it works for me with NL exit node:

I used the work Windows laptop that uses a VPN to download the file and fix this.

Amazing that in 2025 a SINGLE stupid file served by freakin’ Cisco of all companies is able to TOTALLY block a Linux install.
