Fedora 41 Laptop restarts randomly when using battery power

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue with my Lenovo V15 G4 ABP running Fedora 41 with Hyprland. When using the laptop on battery power, it sometimes restarts randomly, regardless of the battery level. The behavior is inconsistent—sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t.

I’ve already tried several troubleshooting steps, including checking battery health, monitoring temperatures, also checking ram with memtest86+ and verifying system logs, but the issue persists. It doesn’t seem to be tied to any specific application or workload.

Here are a few logs and pieces of information that I was able to gather:

This from your battery stats is telling. The battery at that point was at only about 15% capacity and most laptops are designed to shut down when the battery is close to that value. Is there a difference when running the laptop with the charger connected and the battery near full charge?

That would be nice, but this also happened with percentages like 40 and 70. Normally my laptop works until I hit 0 percentage.
