Fedora 40 Won't Boot on HP Laptop 15

Hello!

I just bought a HP Laptop 15, and the first thing I did was install Fedora on it. However, after installing it, it will not boot after the grub selection screen. It simply cuts to a black screen and nothing loads. I have a strong suspicion it has to do with the GPU, as it boots with nomodeset. I have an AMD ATI 03:00.0 Mendocino GPU.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Without the full laptop model I cannot check the specs. Does this laptop have the dual GPU config? If so could that second GPU be an nvidia?

lspci -nnk | grep -iA3 -E "vga|3d" should answer that.
