What are the chances that LibrePods could be officially suppored by Fedora? You know, so I can add it to my laptop via the Software app.
Would be cool, right?

It depends on you, how much time or money you want to invest.
Fedora Packages follow strict rules: What can be packaged :: Fedora Docs
If you are able to make a package you can first create it on https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/. Then you can use it straight away. You need to add a separate repository for it.
If the packages follows correctly the Fedora Packaging Guidelines :: Fedora Docs, then it is time to bring it to the official Fedora Repositories.
If you are not a packager you would need to sponsor someone who makes and maintains it. Big work for a “just nice to have” ![]()
You can install it from the Terra repo:
That was fast!
I liked the installation instructions:
sudo dnf install ...
# sudo dnf copr enable vgaetera/extras
# sudo dnf install librepods
![]()
p.s.
Please remove what you not want have posted here (in my answer). In the end it is up to you to release the information you like. I saw that you quickly added the package and it is up and possible to install.
However I not tested it because I do not have any pods. And also before answering here the first time I checked if I can find something on copr, without success.
Is it possible that you can add some tags in extras? So that at least this app librepods can be found.
By the way, you should also give the users the possibility to support you. In the end copr and your time “costs” money.
Anything written in the description or package names is normally found in the search. Perhaps librepods was added recently, and the Copr search hasn’t indexed it yet.
