Fc42 changes screen size 16x9

I noticed that my screen is a different size going from fc41 to fc42
not sure what is going on
I dont see a way to post screenshots from both versions to show the issue

1920x1080 on both systems
monitor 27 inch LG connected via hdmi

not an upgrade 2 ssds
fc41 fallback fc42 is my test system before converting

terminals are 80x24 on both systems but seems larger on fc42

Is there a display zoom factor set on one of the systems? Or a different font size perhaps?
