I was wondering if fedora became more friendly to normal users and for everyone. For instance developers can adopt UXUI similar to Deepin Linux which doesn’t involve the user as possible with system internal ( terminal) to facilitate users transition from other operating systems to fedora .I’m sure that fedora is the strongest distro to me by experience.
Moreover, I was thinking of AI driven fedora, please for god sake abandon heavy systemd or adopt microkernel-inspired architecture in system and init for better performance targeting near 1 micro second response. Also feature to use cloud hosted AI for just analysis and fixing bugs and applying fixes would be great.
involve local AI for self tuning, self diagnostic and healing, futuristic trend to be self updating . Another feature to use preload function which stores most used drivers and applications to certain image file before shutdown and extract it on next boot for faster boot ( toggleable for applying updates).
Wouldn’t running an AI locally defeat any gains from stripping down the kernel? Particularly on non-“AI” CPUs.
As regards things like prefetch, I do wonder just how much that would affect boot times, if the improvement justifies it then I would advocate for the option since there will be people still running SATA boot disks probably for some time since upgrading to nvme is quite expensive.
