edit:
I tried a fresh install of Fedora 41 KDE on a spare SSD for testing.
First there are flags.
After a few gigabytes of updates and a reboot they are gone.

This is caused by the recent update to Qt 6.8.1, where we backported some fixes for emoji support from Qt 6.9, but it also appears to have this side effect. We are aware of this issue and waiting for it to be fixed in upstream.
