How to make so that in kde panel I will see flag of keyboard layout instead of 2 letter

Right-click on the en in the system tray in your screenshot, and select “Configure Keyboard Layout” from the popup menu.

Then you get a dialog that lets you choose a flag instead of the 2-letter code.
