Computer crashes when sleeping

Since an update a week and a half-ish ago my computer has been unable to successfully sleep. Either immediately upon sleeping or when attempting to wake it from sleep I get this screen and have to reboot. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!

Potentially (ir)relevant info: I had some trouble initially installing 44 the weeks following its release. Prior to downloading the update there was a discover popup saying it would remove kmod-nvidia packages in order to install other packages but would fail repeatedly after restart&install. I eventually followed I believe this solution to update repos and was able to get everything running. Since then, periodically when I update system packages I will get notices like this one yesterday (I hadnt gotten these in my year using fedora before this fix)

The second image in your post is an information screen. Whenever a new kernel is installed the oldest is removed, along with the kernel modules that are associated. In your instance it is installing kernel 7.1.5-101 and removing kernel 7.1.4-202 which necessitates removal of the associated kmod-nvidia package.

Since it seems the gui software management tools often have issues I never use them (I am on workstation with gnome). Instead I always update using the cli and the dnf command, and perform system version upgrades the same way.
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh for routine upgrades and I follow the instructions here for version upgrades.

The really significant difference between the gui and the command line is that the user gets detailed info about the process when using dnf. The user must also use one additional cli command to update flatpaks flatpak upgrade

I dont know enough to glean anything from the message upon crashing. When I run that command it looks like everything is up to date.
