ClamTk- not updating?

ClamTk isn’t updating automatically. The anivirus signatures are outdated . this is the message that appears when in use.

Please have a look to clamav-update:

Description  : This package contains programs which can be used to update the clamav
             : anti-virus database automatically. It uses the freshclam(1) utility for
             : this task. To activate it use, uncomment the entry in /etc/cron.d/clamav-update.
             : Use this package when you go updating the virus database regulary and
             : do not want to download a >160MB sized rpm-package with outdated virus
             : definitions.

I am running the command but no response the bash command is unknown.

As far as I remember, the update command is

freshclam

It is a package as the description explains.
With sudo dnf info clamav-update you see the description as i posted. Please read it.

ClamTk is the GUI and Clamav is the antivirus program.

open terminal

$ sudo -s
$ freshclam

or

$ freshclam --debug

don’t know if it’s necessary

$ systemctl start clamav-freshclam
$ systemctl enable clamav-freshclam
$ systemctl status clamav-freshclam

because missing update service, contab or systemctl timers

$ crontab -l
$ systemctl list-timers

clamav is an old project, might be the description changed.
