Changing a couple things in GDM

(I know GDM Settings exists, but it always fudges up my touchpad speed and I don’t like the idea of needing a separate app for this sort of thing.)

I want to change:

  • the font (to IBM Plex Sans)
  • the icon theme (to Papirus-Dark)
  • the cursor theme (to Phinger-cursors-dark)

Customize your own profile while monitoring dconf changes:

dconf watch /

That should provide you the paths and keys to modify.

Then apply the collected settings for the GDM profile:
