Same problem here. Was working fine until yesterday. I did dnf update, which updated kernel and Nvidia drivers. And installed some packages like related to rdp, now Wayland with Nvidia show blank screen.
X11 works fine. And nouveau works well on both, X11 and Wayland. nvidia_drm.modeset=0 or 1 made no difference.

After two days of being broken, it’s working again. No more blank screen with cursor at login. I jist uninstalled the drivers, rebooted, updated, and installed again (new version of the kernel was available):
sudo dnf remove \*nvidia\* --exclude nvidia-gpu-firmware
# Reboot
sudo dnf update # kernel was updated to 6.9.11
# Reboot
sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia
sudo dnf install xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-cuda
# Waited for akmod to compile
modinfo -F version nvidia # Returns 555.58.02

Hi, have found any solution coz i have the same problem
Problem eventually went away by upgrading kernel and nvidia drivers. Right now I’m running 6 .11.4-201.fc40.x86_64 and NVIDIA 560.35.03 and I don’t have that problem any more.
