Automatic Login Not Enabled but still Fedora logs me in..How?

I am using Fedora 41 workstation and whenever I start up my computer and get to the login screen, I get automatically logged in without having to enter my password or my fingerprint. But if I lock my computer then I do have to log in

I checked my settings and automatic login is not enabled…so why does this keep happening?

Even Automatic login still requires entering password when unlocking screen.

Where did you check that automatic login is not enabled?

Can you post the output of cat /etc/gdm/custom.conf?

To confirm that you are or are not automatically logged in you can open the gnome settings panel and go to the system tab then select users. It should show if you are configured for auto-login
