A problem I got with my audio-controller is that i get no sound from my internal speaker BUT if i attach a Headset i get sound from my internal speaker. After some digging i learned that is a common problem with my soundcard.
Audio:
Device-1: Intel Alder Lake PCH-P High Definition Audio vendor: Huawei
driver: sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl bus-ID: 00:1f.3 chip-ID: 8086:51c8
API: ALSA v: k6.18.9-200.fc43.x86_64 status: kernel-api
Server-1: PipeWire v: 1.4.10 status: active with: 1: pipewire-pulse
status: active 2: wireplumber status: active 3: pipewire-alsa type: plugin
4: pw-jack type: plugin
The ports are somewhat different so audio control isnt using the correct ones. Ive read about that around Q4 25 (I guess novembre) but the fix it promised was it will get fixes with new kernel updates, so i waited. But now with newly installed and updated 6.18.9-200.fc43.x86_64 it still persists.
Can someone help? I guess it is a kernel-level problem, but im always open for solutions and maybe it will help others with similar problems. Ive read about People who send their new notebooks back because audio didnt work, they had the same bus-ID: 00:1f.3 problem as me.
Thanks.
