After installing Fedora 42 workstation, I have sound but when I do the first update and restart my laptop, I have no sound. I tried some tricks here and there but nothing worked so I resumed the installation without updating for now. I see that the kernel is on version 6.14 and I upgrade to version 6.15 after the first update. Does anyone know what is causing this sound problem after the update or which packages I should not update to avoid audio issues? thanks.
I have Dell Latitude 3520, I5 as laptop.
