Brand new Linux user trying to troubleshoot a persistent audio issue with a brand new install of Fedora Linux 40. The issue I’m encountering is whenever I play audio from Cider, or Youtube and I press the Super Key to evoke the workspaces and dock view, the audio cuts out briefly. I have tried various edits to the Pipewire and Wireplumber config files that the community has recommended but nothing has stuck.

The only “fix” I have found is to open the Volume Control app and leave it running the background. Once open the audio stays consistent and never cuts out.
Has anyone else encountered this and if so have they had any luck fixing? Right now I configured the Volume Control app to launch and get thrown to another workspace for now.
