I just checked the respins at Index of /pub/alt/live-respins and the dates on the isos are all Oct 15. The respins usually refresh every two weeks, so I’m wondering is that the URL obsolete now or are Live Respins not being made any more?
You can find the F43 Spins at Index of /pub/fedora/linux/releases/43/Spins/x86_64/iso
I do not think they are made every two weeks, but rather once every six months unless something desperately needs to be fixed.
ReSpins != Spins
I doubt that further F42 ReSpins are planned. The next ReSpin will probably be based on F43.
ReSpins != Spins
Yes, I know what Respins are and they are not equal to spins.
Respins used to be remade every two weeks off the current packages. My question is that Oct 15 is two iterations behind so I’m wondering if respins don’t get made anymore?
I know that respins are made off the latest release hence F43 but F43 has been out since Oct 28. So I was thinking there’d be respins on 11/15 of Fedora 43. So I guess what’s going on is there will be a skip since it’s so new and so the F43 respins might start on Nov 30th?
I found the respins matrix channel and the latest info there is that three would be a release last Friday (2 days ago). I think they are waiting on a problem to be fixed or a qa issue.
Anyway, they should be up soon.
In the meantime you can get updated isos from Fedora nightly compose finder
