hello! first time here.
in short, fedora 44 is not using my dGPU whatsoever in any way, even if I add the “run with discrete graphics” launch option to an application. I believe the cause for this is that it is failing to load any driver for my AMD dGPU (ADM Radeon RX 7700S), while correctly loading amdgpu as the driver for my iGPU (AMD Radeon 780M).
output of inxi -G:

as you can see, Kernal driver in use: amdgpu is not listed for the dGPU, and inxi reports N/A for the nonexistent driver.
as I understand it, AMD drivers are supposed to be built-in with Fedora, however, even after making sure amdgpu and all the mesa drivers were up to date, I can’t find a solution to this nor can I find anybody having a similar issue with non-Nvidia drivers. any help would be appreciated.
thank you for your time!
