After upgrading to fedora 41 wifi connection drops randomly very often

I’ve been using fedora for quite some time and never had any problems with wireless networks. After upgrading to fedora 41, my connection drops every 10-20 minutes with seemingly no reason.
My network controller is

Network controller [0280]: Intel Corporation Wi-Fi 6 AX201 [8086:a0f0] (rev 20)
	Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device [8086:0074]
	Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
	Kernel modules: iwlwifi

While looking through NetworkManager logs I found only

The wifi network itself seems to be very stable, as I have never experienced any similar problems with my phone (or any other people that use the same network). How can I fix this instability issue?

i have the same problem

00:14.3 Network controller: Intel Corporation Raptor Lake PCH CNVi WiFi (rev 01)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device 0090
Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
Kernel modules: iwlwifi

Same issue here, since Fedora 40, and now on Fedora 41.

Wireless card:

00:14.3 Network controller [0280]: Intel Corporation Raptor Lake-S PCH CNVi WiFi [8086:7a70] (rev 11)
        Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device [8086:0094]
        Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
        Kernel modules: iwlwifi

The weird thing is on fedora 40 it started working, but some update broke it.

Now i think its a setting in wifi, that creates the problem. At firest i thought it was because i had 6ghz on, so first i made a 2.4ghz network and it worked fine, then i made a 5ghz network, also worked fine all day without drop out. Then i disable the 6ghz network from my primary network, and it still gave problems…

but this config does:

later i will test 6ghz only and see how that works

Yeat another wifi power saving issue. On fedora 41 they decided to make tuned aka energy-saving network profile as the default one. Just disabling (Tip: Lower WiFi latency by disabling WiFi power management) it solved the issue for me.

i dont belive so. I tried that fix already, and it did not solve it. Also it does not explain why the connection is rock solid if i change my wifi to the above?

I already tried it, before i switched computers… but i can try it again and report back.

/edit

i already had that setting, so no sadley its not it

Hi, my friend, have you fix this problem? I tried that solution as well, but not working, wifi keep disconnect every few minutes. (btw, sorry about my bad english)

This topic is marked solved. If the “solution” doesn’t work for you, you need to start a new topic. Please include your WiFi hardware details (from inxi -Nzxx) in the new topic.
