Why does Fedora 34 a reboot after every update?

Since updating to Fedora 34 with KDE every time that I install updates I get a message from “PLasma Workspace” saying “Restart is required”. This was not the case with older versions I’ve used in the past. It’s one of the things I loved about Linux, rarely needed to reboot, and hated about Windows, constantly rebooting after every little update install.

What are the advantages of fedora's way of doing updates?

hi i was earlier on Linux Mint for 3 years and before that over 20 years of Windows. i see fedora is doing updates to the system in a similar manner of Windows 10. Is this way of doing it? as in only installing upon next boot attempt with another reboot after successful install a better way of doing it rather than just “installing” them like Mint does?
