Where is my touchpad? :-)

Hello and this is the problem:
going past kernel 6.11.11.300-fc41 to the later 6.13 and even 6.14
the touchpad is lost. Works only sporadically and then also in an errrratic fashion. I have included the full inxi:

I edited your post to add the preformatted text tags (the </> button) and removed the blockquote that you had inserted. This displays the output as seen on-screen.

thx :shortcake:

Run

lshw

and find your touchpad to see if the driver is supported. I have seen problems with Elan touchpads recently.

Hello MatH, thx for your feedback - this is the result of the comparison:

touchpad working:

touchpad not working:

It is a Synaptics touchpad.

Assuming that you have tested it in the 6.11.11-300 Kernel and it works properly (as you have indicated) I would file a bug with Fedora at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/
