Voting for the F42 Elections is now Open!

I’m pleased to announce that voting for the F42 elections is now open! Voting will remain open until June 2, 2025 at 23:59 UTC. Please take some time to read through the interviews by our great candidates this year for FESCo, Council, Mindshare and EPEL* and cast your vote to claim your badge!

*As the number of candidates equals the number of open seats for the EPEL Steering Committee, these candidates will be elected by default on June 2, 2025.

Best of luck to our great candidates, and thank you all for making this election cycle very exciting!

Kindest regards,
Aoife

How do I sign in to CLA? when I try to vote it says you must sign in to CLA to vote

You need to sign up for a FAS Account https://accounts.fedoraproject.org/ which will ask you to agree to the CLA, which is now called the FPCA. The elections system pre-dates this change.

Seems possibly related to this, and if it is, then we (either Americans or Red Hat affiliates - I am the former and not the latter) cannot help you with this:

Can anyone please tell me what this voting is for?

Note: I am new to the fedora community!

For positions on these committees. The Fedora Project, while sponsored by Red Hat, is run by the community, and there are several “Governing bodies” who handle different parts of the project. You can learn more by reading and consulting here:
