–Images cannot be searched so the data contained cannot be found by someone at a later date
–Images are much larger than the text contained for storage
–Sometimes images may be blurred or contain tiny text and thus difficult to read.
–When attempting to quote something within an image the person replying is forced to manually type what could have been simply copied and pasted into the reply.
