Suspend does Suspend+Wakeup (Fedora Workstation)

Dear Fedoras,

since i put a AMD Radeon RX7600XT into my PC, everytime i click on Suspend the PC suspends but immediately does a wakeup and shows the Login.

Anyone has hints how to solve that?

I started now to disable all entries for all devices with echo xxxx > /proc/acpi/wakeup and now suspend is working as expected.

Will nvestigate further what device is the source of the problem.

One way to test that would have been to disable one device at a time and test after each change. A blanket change does not leave room to identify the actual cause.

I do not use suspend so never have encountered that issue.

On my side disabling GPP0 was the solution.

To make it permanent i created a service file /etc/systemd/system/disable-devices-as-wakeup.service with following content:

[Unit]
Description=Disable devices as wakeup

[Service]
ExecStart='/usr/bin/echo GPP0 > /proc/acpi/wakeup'
Type=oneshot

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

and enabled it with

$ systemctl enable disable-devices-as-wakeup.service
