I’m trying to run CISCO Packet Tracer AppImage (this shouldn’t make a difference though, any amd64 AppImage I can test is fine):
yalihupokn@zoqu-endiman:~/Downloads$ muvm -- /home/yalihupokn/Downloads/opt/pt/packettracer.AppImage
Failed to set the new pressure in the guest: could not connect to muvm server: No such file or directory (os error 2)
No IPv6 nameserver available for NDP/DHCPv6
Using default interface naming scheme 'v257'.
fuse: failed to open /dev/fuse: Permission denied
Cannot mount AppImage, please check your FUSE setup.
You might still be able to extract the contents of this AppImage
if you run it with the --appimage-extract option.
See https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE
for more information

yalihupokn@zoqu-endiman:~/Downloads$
Really sorry, but all this emulation / GPU business just leaves me lost. Any ideas?
[UPDATE]
Sadly this does not work.
[UPDATE 2]
This allows me to access packettracer CLI:
muvm $(realpath packettracer.AppImage) --appimage-extract-and-run
The GUI is struggling to start though:
Failed to connect to a Wayland server: No such file or directory
Note: WAYLAND_DISPLAY is unset (falling back to wayland-0)
Note: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR is set to /tmp/muvm-run-1000-0XpfiB
Please check whether /tmp/muvm-run-1000-0XpfiB/wayland-0 socket exists and is accessible.
/usr/bin/xdg-mime: line 1504: [: : integer expression expected
Interestingly enough, now I get a different error:
yalihupokn@zoqu-endiman:~/Downloads/opt/pt$ muvm $(realpath packettracer.AppImage) --appimage-extract-and-run
No IPv6 nameserver available for NDP/DHCPv6
Using default interface naming scheme 'v257'.

- I have been using System Monitor to kill resource-intensive steam and Konsole processes, if that could have anything to do with it
- I set
LD_LIBRARY_PATHetc. as explained here
[UPDATE 3]
My bad, I was confusing the AppImage I extracted from the .deb file, and the one installed via the script, which seems to be doing best: I get the exact same Wayland server errors by running muvm packettracer --appimage-extract-and-run (muvm $(realpath packettracer) --appimage-extract-and-run instead causes Failed to execute "/home/yalihupokn/Downloads/opt/pt/packettracer" as child process: No such file or directory (os error 2)).
[UPDATE 4]
Running xwaylandvideobridge in another terminal caused the Wayland errors repeated for a while, then a long list of 'File exists and file size matches, skipping`, then:
Failed to connect to a Wayland server: No such file or directory

Note: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR is set to /tmp/muvm-run-1000-w9FUlA

./PacketTracer: error while loading shared libraries: libxkbfile.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

And we are back with error 127.
[UPDATE 5]
Now muvm packettracer --appimage-extract-and-run goes straight to error 127: it must have cached.
