Question regarding SSLVPN

, ,

Hello All,

I decided to install Fedora instead of Windows on my laptop.
Everything is perfect for me except one thing:
In order to connect to my work with SSL VPN, I have to use Forticlient SSL VPN with fortitoken.
Since Forticlient VPN client does not exist for Linux and I don’t know any Linux VPN client that supports authentication with the token I need your help for finding the way to connect to the work with the fortitoken in Fedora.

Please assist…

would suggest there is a linux client.

Thank you for your response. An account for the Fortinet Developer Network is required to access it.

Hi,

Only other thing I can suggest then is try the windows app in wine.

Thanks Tom.

What about their mobile phone app (their site is horrible designed)?

sorry don’t think I get the question, how does the mobile phone app relate to fedora?

Answer, click to see

The Forticlient is available as mobile phone app. TS may be not need to do anything with Fedora. Just connect with computer and do something on m. phone (two factor auth). Possible. I’ve no idea how this works.

Is it possible that you require a client certificate or trusted root certificate supplied by your IT support? It may be possible to procure the necessary documents to use the Linux VPN client. I would confirm the requirements for access
