Python conda package manager update

Problem

At this moment on Fedora 39 @System repository has conda package (package homepage) with the unactual 23.9.0 version. This version has bug in conda init[1][2].

This bug was fixed in 24.3.0 release in pull-request[3]. Fedora Rawhide has actual version.

Cause

Not yet known.

Solution

Update package in Fedora 39 @System repository to actual version.

I’m not sure what you mean here, exactly. I just looked, and the package appears to have the proper, released 23.9.0 version from upstream.

The 23.9.0 version not contain bugfix because it was included in 24.3.0 which available in Fedora Rawhide only at current moment.

Hi @avatar-mod . I have a feeling that you want to ask conda maintainers to update the Fedora 39 version to fix the referenced bug? In that case, you need to go to bugzilla and file it there.
