Try again and see if you can reproduce the issue:

sudo dnf clean all
sudo dnf --refresh upgrade

I’m already in the middle of a simple retry

[giuliohome@myfedora ~]$ sudo dnf clean packages
417 files removed
[giuliohome@myfedora ~]$ sudo dnf upgrade

…
If either my simple retry or yours above (the only differences are the options all in the first line and --refresh in the second) will work, I will mark your reply as the answer, otherwise I’ll get back here to ask further support… thanks in the meantime

This issue can be the result of an incomplete download due to temporary network or mirror-related problems such as packet loss.

My simple retry went ok.
I’m still having an issue with dotnet. Should I open another question under “using fedora” or can I keep going here?
Anyway this is what I see after the successful upgrade and reboot

[giuliohome@myfedora ~]$ dotnet --info
bash: dotnet: command not found...
Install package 'dotnet-host' to provide command 'dotnet'? [N/y] y

 * Waiting in queue... Failed to install packages: higher version "3.1.6-1.fc32" of package dotnet-host.x86_64 is already installed

Yep, it’s best to open another thread as the issue doesn’t seem to be related with the current one.

yeah, it is unrelated, but never mind, I’ve solved the dotnet problem by following this reasoning.

Thank you again for your help in the upgrade!

This is a great community, every time I find the right support for Fedora
