Oh no! Someting has gone wrong | `GLIBCXX_3.4.29' not found | Fedora 33 -> 35 upgrade

After upgrading Fedora 33 → 35 via the Software GUI boot fails with message “Oh no! Something has gone wrong.”
Just before it prints “NVIDIA kernel module missing. Falling back on nouveau”
Booting with flag “systemd.unit=emergency.target” directly prints:

/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.29’ not found (required by /lib64/libproxy.so.1)

Attempting to use dnf or yum results in similar error messages.
Attempting to boot older kernel versions ends in a black screen.

What can I do?

What Nvidia driver version do you installed (exp. xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx)?

Let us know what nvidia card you have.
Please post the output of inxi -Fzx inside the </> preformatted text tags from the top bar.
