First distribution banning all AI generated or helped code from commits as tainted code

Gentoo has joined the NetBSD and banned AI code

Absolutely agree with the bans by NetBSD and Gentoo for numerous reasons.
AI is not ready for hardcore deployment; anyone saying otherwise are foolish.
There is also the risk of AI hallucinating or making stuff up which then needs to be diagnosed and treated adding to resource commitments better served elsewhere. NetBSD and Gentoo are excellent examples of why AI is a no go as the previously mentioned projects have a great deal on their tables already without becoming someone else’s beta testers.
