Looking for Fedora Workstation virtual desktop service for on-demand developer remote use

Does anyone use a virtual desktop service and like it? A couple years ago I had my eye on a few and they seem to have closed now. I’m seeing Amazon Workspaces now, but that’s about it. Are there such services offering managed Fedora Workstation instances for remote developer work, or is Amazon the only one?

Added cloud, vps and removed virtualization

So you are looking for a host where you can rent a VPS? Or have an entirely managed Fedora Workstation install?

What does “managed” mean for you? Do they have access to your machine??

I would just use any VPS that allows uploading a custom ISO. But I have never done a setup myself.

Why does it need to be on somebody elses computer? Demanding workloads? Not bothering buying a second SSD?

I’d go for that too. I’ve only done traditional CLI Fedora Server set-ups on Vultr VPS (Fedora’s official ISO; custom OS/ISO VPS option), and they have a web viewer VNC client for clicking stuff in Anaconda.

It seems like doing a GUI set-up and enabling remote desktop would be similar on any good-spec’d VPS, but doing a GUI install with Anaconda might be easier if the VPS provides VNC access (I’ve only used Vultr and they have it)

To be extra paranoid, I wouldnt use an installation media included by some provider. If they just add a single package they could sniff on all your stuff.
