LDAC audio codec missing

Hello Guys, My headphones sony used to connect to LDAC audio codec but since a couple of weeks ago LDAC is missing from audio options. I did not touched anything related to audio or packages. I am using Fedora 39 + Gnome

I’m facing the same problem on Fedora 40 after upgrading Plasma to 6.1

This is an old thread, I know - and maybe the issue has since been fixed. If not, simply “forget the device” and re-connect it. LDAC should appear again.

In my case, the solution was to disable “connect 2 devices simultaneously” from Sony app because that setting disable the LDAC codec.

Connect WH-1000XM4 with phone. Open Sony Connect app. Go to Device settings > Sound Quality Mode and choose Prioritize Sound Quaity. Then disconnect phone and conenct PC with Fedora. You will see LDAC on list.
