Latest dnf5 version on Fedora 42

I see that dnf5 v5.2.14.0 has been released on GitHub but I don’t see a build on Bodhi for Fedora 42

Am I missing something about how it’s released in Fedora?

There is always a delay between the upstream release and the release of the same version on fedora. This allows time for packaging and testing before releasing it on the fedora repo.

If you are patient and watch the updates, updated packages on fedora usually are released fairly quickly after the upstream release.

I do understand, but shouldn’t there at least be a release on Bodhi? in order to for people to test?

Maybe
It depends on the package maintainer and their available time to create the package. Since all this is volunteer time and effort it requires patience from the user.

Note that the flow appears to be
Upstream release → initial package on bohdi → package to updates-testing → release to updates.
