Hi, I want to install Time Doctor 2 on my fedora setup, can anyone help me on how to install the software please, the file use .run extension, I tried the information but it doesn’t do https://itslinuxfoss.com/how-to-install-run-files/. Thank you so much
The file must be executable and probably needs superuser permissions to do the installation.
I looked at the linked instructions, and steps 1, 2, & 3 clearly tell one how to make the file executable by using chmod u+x filename.run so the user may execute that file.
Then it may be executed and installed by using sudo filename.run.
All it takes is opening a terminal window and following those steps.
The instructions about using the gui are not quite so clear.
