Hi everyone! My name Anushka. I’m currently a third year undergraduate student.
I’m really interested in Linux kernel development (still a beginner, but learning steadily!). I’m passionate about systems, understanding how software works under the hood, and troubleshooting low-level issues.
Excited to learn from everyone here and contribute wherever I can. Looking forward to being part of this community!

Hello @moonlitpath1 and welcome to

You may find the following informative, but be aware that the information may be outdated.
I would also recommend joining the Fedora Kernel Matrix room.
Thank you so much!

I’ll definitely check the links out and join the room too!
Hi & welcome Anushka! Hope you enjoy your time in the community ![]()
Additional to what hristo already wrote, it might be useful to join the devel room & devel mailing list, as a lot of what is going in in development is discussed, and made aware of, there, including kernel stuff.

Hello,
There is Kernel Test Day and its scheduled for February 22.
Its is a chance to engage with the community and help with kernel testing, or try the latest Fedora 44.
Lets see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2026-02-22_Kernel_6.19_Test_Week
And more testday will come during the Fedora44 cycle, see https://testdays.fedoraproject.org/ for the actual test event.
Hi! I apologize for the late reply.. I only saw this message recently
. I missed the February 22nd test day, but I’m very interested in participating in upcoming Fedora 44 kernel test days. I’ll keep an eye on testdays.fedoraproject.org for the next events.
Thank you so much for telling me about this!
