HDMI Screen doesn't wake up after automatic screen off. Nvidia Wayland (Fedora 41 KDE)

I just installed Fedora KDE 41 today (I did not have this issue on Kubuntu 24.10). I came back to my computer, tried to wake it up, and then the screen that I had connected with HDMI. I realized that I had Nouveau and not the proprietary driver running so I tried installing it, restarting, and it was still black. I connected it to a laptop running windows and it was still black. The screen only came back when I changed the color profile in the monitor. I don’t have this issue when I run kscreen-doctor --dpms off, but it does wake up very slowly.

Edit: the monitor in question is the Acer KG241Y S.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks for your help. If there’s a better place for this, please let me know.
