Looking for a inxpensive hard drive dock I can use as part of a backup solution. I have a couple hard drives sitting around since I switched to using a ssd. Now would love to use them as a place to back up data or use a dock with another ssd to back up data
Would like to find what dock can work with a Sata drive and a ssd and work out of the box with linux

I do use a usb3 dock with two slots for HD/SDD.
The picture is illustrative, you have to search in your country about USB dock sata disk or similar.
I have the same “use case” and do use several uGreen USB3 external cases for SATA drives. They come with a separate power supply and that haven’t given me any trouble.
Thank you, I found the pretty much same thing on amazon in the US. Just do not want to waste money on stuff that does not work. I have 2 wifi usb sticks that will not work with linux lol.
That’s true just read carefully the description. Nowadays if it is Linux compatible it is written. If you have doubts just do not buy it. Or with amazon, you have the right to send back right?
