Gnome Unlock Private Key Prompt

I have an ssh key that is locked with a passphrase. On one of my computers I have it set up to when I’m using the bash shell and if I’m ssh-ing to a computer that uses the keys, it will prompt me to enter the passphrase once and then it’s remember for subsequent sessions until I log out of gnome. I set it up on one computer, but I cannot for the life of me remember how I did it. I’m trying to set this up on my laptop and it’s just not happening.

The reason I really need this is so virt manager is capable of logging into remote hosts via ssh.

This topic solved it for me. My public ssh key was missing from the .ssh folder.
