First step of SELinux confined users makes programs launch very slowly?

uid=1000(user) gid=1000(user) grupper=1000(user),10(wheel),1004(plugdev),1006(demo),1007(work) kontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:unconfined_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023

That is my current user. It seems the first step of the guide puts my user into the unconfined context?

I am pretty confused about that docu and would like to revert these changes, instead have a secondary user be confined.

I realize programs launch very slowly currently, and I assume it is because of these settings? I didnt reboot yet.

Help and a guide on how to set a specific user as confined and not just the current one, would be appreciated. I am pretty confused by the “guide” in the wiki

There is a section SELinux/ConfinedUsers - Fedora Project Wiki
which could help you. Please let me know which particular part of the wiki page is unclear.

Yes I followed that. For me it is a bit messy and lacks the “zero knowledge explanations” of SELinux profiles etc. Also why are multiple ones created, and is the user added to them? Why are they dependend on the user?
