Fedora CoreOS and etcd

Hi,

Container Linux is actually a collection of tools, among them locksmithd and etcd.

Can you guys make a statement regarding the future of them, independently from the transition to Fedora CoreOS?

For instance, I use etcd out of the scope of Container Linux and I do not want to invest in a technology that Red Hat might kill - like what they are doing with Container Linux.

Thanks,
Ulderico

etcd is the core of Kubernetes and many other distributed applications. It will certainly be around for a very long time.
