Fedora Atomic Desktop: do you think we should ship with vim-enhanced?

Hello, I hope you don’t mind if I post this to Fedora Discussion for more exposure:

Here’s the issue text repeated:

I’m on Atomic Desktop, and I really miss Huge version without GUI!

I understand that the default editor was changed to nano on mutable Fedora for good reasons, but my fingers (and I’ll bet others) instinctively type vi from the terminal, and syntax highlighting with color really helps getting config files right with things like visual mode selection, highlighting keywords with color, visual indications of properly terminated strings, etc.

I don’t avoid nano out of spite mind you, it’s just not vim. I’m wondering if other Atomic Fedora users and developers would also prefer to trade additional disk space for more functionality?

Also, I’m aware vim-enhanced can be installed and aliased in both a standard and administrator toolbx, that’s explicitly not the request. I want convenience.

Also, Fedora likes color. =^)
