Fedora 42. 6.14.4-300.fc42. The Application Center has become very slow. Information takes 30 minutes to load. View installed applications or Check for updates takes a very long time. Installing applications takes a very long time. Everything was fine before. What could be the reason?
With application center do you mean GNOME Software or KDE Discover?
GNOME Software is known to take o long time to refresh information quite often. On the other hand, it might also be related to slow repo mirrors.
What do you see if you run the updates in a terminal:
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh
Do you receive timeouts?
I’m talking about GNOME Software.

Apparently slow repository mirrors. But for half a year everything was fine.
At least this shows that the issue is not specific to GNOME Software, but rather to the connection to mirrors.
In case this is not related to the internet connection itself, you might want to consider changing the mirrors. There are a couple of threads here on Discourse on how to do that.
Thank you for your attention to my question!
