I used to manage this with sudo dnf remove --oldinstall only. Doesn’t work anymore.

You have provided no useful information for us to undertstand what is wrong with your system.
What is the output of:
lsblk -f
sudo ls -l /boot
sudo du -sh /boot/*

I get a message at start-up that saus “low disk space on boot”
A low disk space warning indicates insufficient space available continue safely.
You can check it with the df command. If you have a bootable USB with Linux installed you can use gparted to get details about partition sizes and utitilization.
