fresh install of fedora 43 workstation
update software request entering the password
its more thant 10 time now
its not a keboard layout problems
switched back to US with the same result
my password dont have any special char
Over decades using Unix and Linux, I’ve seen password issues due to a bad key. Try typing your password in a terminal or editor, or an app that allows you to view what is typed.
i know everyone love to answer that on all forum
i have run all fedora since moonshine
tested my keyboard setup in text editor before saying there was a problems
something go banana with software update application
got the same problems in f42
but since i wanted a fresh install of f43 i did not push to debug it
i will restart the install with only one language and keyboard setup
keep you informed if the problems is there
the problem is only present on remote login
