Errors with upgrade fedora 33 to 34

,

After successfully upgrading the Fedora34, How reinstall openoffice?
I have 4 files in desktop-integration directory:

ls -1
openoffice4.1.10-freedesktop-menus-4.1.10-9807.noarch.rpm
openoffice4.1.10-mandriva-menus-4.1.10-9807.noarch.rpm
openoffice4.1.10-redhat-menus-4.1.10-9807.noarch.rpm
openoffice4.1.10-suse-menus-4.1.10-9807.noarch.rpm

rpm -U openoffice4.1.10-redhat-menus-4.1.10-9807.noarch.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
	redhat-release is needed by openoffice4.1.10-redhat-menus-4.1.10-9807.noarch

OpenOffice has been widely replaced by LibreOffice.
It offers the same functionality and might be a better choice,
Does it need to be OpenOffice?

I’m used to OpenOffice. I use Mac Os and Windows and i need that odt files open in different OS. Ok, i will try LibreOffice

You can install this package, which should work well for Fedora 34:

RPMS/desktop-integration/openoffice*-freedesktop-menus-*.noarch.rpm

Hi guys, I have a very similar issue. I’m trying to upgrade from fedora 33 to 34. I’m getting several errors when trying to upgrade. But not for an specific package. I have captured output of dnf upgrade --refresh with and without --allowerasing and also with and without --best.
DNf has downloaded all files required and those without conflicts but don’t install them, even those free of conflict.
I appreciate any answer you could give me. If an output is required just request it.
Thanks in advance.

You are posting on a topic for a release that is already EOL.
Your problem is likely different and a new thread started for your actual issue will likely get better response than posting on one that has been closed for a year.

Please start your own thread.

I closed the topic because problems related to upgrading from Fedora Linux 33 to 34 you may face nowadays that both are EOL, may be quite different compared to one year ago.
